Magnolia vs Stampavie Challenge - Week 19 - Get in shape

Hello all, how you doing this week? I've not been too bad, had a bit of a tummy bug but I think that is gradually going now thankfully.

Anyhow I decided to enter a new challenge for me this week, I have never entered this challenge before but fancied a change from the norm. The brief over at Magnolia vs Stampavie was to create a card which wasn't square or rectangular. Hmmm...after a bit of thought and playing around I came up with this card. I am actually quite pleased with it and might have to play around with the shape more often.

The elements I used for my card are:-

White hammered card

Image - Magnolia

Image coloured with Promarkers

Papers - Three Bugs in a Rug
Prima Flowers

Papermania Brads

My GD card for Charisma Cardz Challenge - Challenge 10 - Something for the Guys

How late am I in posting my card this week!! OMW where is the time going, I don't seem to have time to do much at all recently....this must change, I have crafting to do lol.

Anyways here is my card for this weeks Charisma Cardz challenge. This week you are challenged to make a card for a guy. Don't all scream at once please! I know if you are anything like me you really dislike making boy cards...why is that? It's because we can't use flowers isn't it, it just doesnt' seem right to put flowers on a boy's card. The good thing about this challenge is you could make a baby boy card and we all like making baby cards right? So there's your get out clause, make a baby boy card.

Colour Create Week 5 Challenge Card

Woohoo I got a card made lol. I cannot believe I have only managed one card this weekend. I had intended on getting some serious crafting done yesterday evening but I felt really ill, I think I was just tired but convinced myself I was getting a sore throat etc etc. Anyhow I had a lovely lie in this morning followed by a lovely roast chicken meal for dinner and now here I am.

This card is for the brilliant Colour Create Challenge which this week is to use a colour combination of brown and blue. I really like these colours, I think they go so well together so this wasn't going to be hard at all. It also gave me the ideal opportunity to use one of my new Gorjuss stamps and aren't they just that....totally gorgeous. Just need to ink up the rest of them now and get started on some serious Gorjuss crafting. At the rate I am going I should have used them all by the end of the year lol.

Anyway here are the elements I used on my card:-

Papers - Both by Dream Street Papers LLC - "Near & Dear - Andrea" and "Near and Dear - Ericka"
Brown Bazill Bling Card Image - Gorjuss
Image coloured with Copics

Flowers - Prima and Maya Road

Brads - Dovecraft and Papermania

KARS Pearl Adhesive Stones

Liquid Pearls

Glossy Accents

I hope you like the card, all comments are very welcome.
